Train Supporters at Liveability Forum

At the Northern Rivers Liveability Forum held at the Byron Community Centre, two young voices stood out for their clarity and conviction in support of the return of trains to our region. Speaking from the audience, they reminded everyone present that long-term thinking and proven infrastructure still matter.

Their contributions reflected a grounded understanding that rail has always played a vital role in regional connectivity—and can do so again.

Hosted by Business NSW Northern Rivers, the forum underscored an encouraging truth: the next generation is not rejecting the past but learning from it and looking ahead with purpose.
